Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity fo an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join us on a major project in Bedfordshire.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience on a prestigious high‑value projects, working alongside experienced commercial professionals in a supportive environment that encourages learning and progression.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting the commercial management of projects from pre‑construction through to completion
Assisting with procurement, subcontractor engagement and cost control activities
Preparing valuations, cost reports and forecasts under guidance
Supporting the management of variations and change control
Assisting with the preparation and agreement of final accounts
Working collaboratively with site, commercial, design and supply chain teams
Ensuring commercial processes align with company procedures and best practice

What We're Looking For

Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role or a relevant construction/commercial role
A degree or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
A proactive approach and willingness to learn
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience on construction projects is beneficial but not essential
