Full job description

Experience Level: Previous Optical experience (REQUIRED)

Expectations: Each shift is 6.5 hours a day. We are looking for both part time members of staff.

What We're Looking For

Previous optical practice experience (essential)
Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
Excellent communication and listening skills
Confident working independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Strong organisational and diary management skills
Honest, reliable, and dependable

Key Responsibilities

Deliver an outstanding patient experience from start to finish
Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and care
Dispense a wide range of lenses, from single vision to premium varifocals
Explain lens options and products confidently to meet individual patient needs
Carry out pre-screening to a high clinical standard
Book and manage appointments both in person and over the telephone
Understand and follow NHS procedures
Provide accurate frame fitting, adjustments, and exceptional aftercare
Handle patient enquiries and resolve concerns with confidence and empathy
Support practice growth by building lasting patient relationships
Work collaboratively to maintain a positive and efficient practice environment

Part-time position
