Location: Daytona Sandown Park
Department: Catering
Reporting to: Venue / Catering Supervisor
Hours: Full‑time (flexible, including evenings and weekends)

About Daytona & Sandown Park

Daytona is one of the UK's leading karting operators, delivering professionally run race events with a strong focus on safety, consistency, and customer experience. Daytona Sandown Park is a long‑established outdoor karting venue hosting arrive‑and‑drive sessions, corporate events, championships, and endurance racing. This creates a fast‑paced working environment where teamwork and high standards are essential.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the day‑to‑day running of the catering operation, helping prepare and serve food, maintain hygiene standards, and ensure customers receive efficient and friendly service.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team in a busy environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and presentation in line with business requirements
Serve customers efficiently and provide a friendly, professional service
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene at all times
Support stock control, storage, and rotation of ingredients
Assist with keeping kitchen and service areas organised and well maintained
Work closely with the wider team to support events and busy periods
Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a kitchen, catering, or food service role (desirable)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards
Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
Food hygiene knowledge or certification (preferred but not essential)
Right to work in the UK
