Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Part-Time HR & Administrator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support human resources functions, health and safety requirments and administrative operations, ensuring smooth daily workflows. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, experience with HR and health and safety systems is an advantage, and a passion for fostering positive workplace environments. This position is perfect for someone looking to develop their HR, health & safety and administrative expertise in a collaborative setting while making a meaningful impact.

Duties

Manage data entry and maintenance to ensure accurate employee records, hours worked and recruitment data.
Assist with HR processes, including preparing new hire documentation, coordinating orientation sessions and holding performance/disciplinary meetings.
Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings on social media channels and job boards, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
Maintain organised administrative files and handle correspondence related to human resources activities.
Coordinate employee communications through various channels, ensuring timely dissemination of updates and policies.
Support the general administration of the company, such as answering calls, amending orders, creating invoices, assisting with customers and liasing with drivers and other staff.
Assist with tracking attendance, leave requests, right to work and other HR-related data to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

Prior experience in administrative roles or human resources support is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across teams and departments.
Proficiency in data entry and managing multiple digital platforms like Salesforce or social media management tools.
A good understanding of Excel is an advantage.
Demonstrated organisational skills with attention to detail in maintaining records and documentation.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
