Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in their purchasing decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively and engage with customers will be key to driving sales and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide tailored assistance.
Demonstrate product knowledge and effectively communicate features and benefits to customers.
Mixing Paint to selected colours chosen by customer.
Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and priced.
Handle transactions accurately using the till, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
Manage time efficiently to assist multiple customers while maintaining high service standards.
Respond to customer inquiries via phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Assist in inventory management, including stock replenishment and organisation of merchandise.

Requirements

Strong communication skills.
Experience in mixing paint ( preferred but not necessary)
Knowledge of Paint (preferred but not necessary)
Demonstrated ability to sell products effectively through engaging interactions with customers.
Organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
Previous retail experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
