Exeter College’s ESOL provision is thriving—our learner numbers continue to rise year on year, and we’re proud of our strong success rates. As our community grows, we’re welcoming increasing numbers of students onto our programmes, and we offer courses from pre-entry through to Level 2.
We’re now looking for a passionate and experienced part-time ESOL Teacher to join our dedicated team to teach 18 hours a week, these hours will be on Tuesday & Friday mornings 9:30 – 12:30, Monday & Wednesday afternoons 1:30-4:30, and Monday and Wednesday evenings 6-9.
About You:
We are looking for someone who:

Has experience teaching ESOL across at least 2 levels

Enjoys working with diverse groups, including asylum seekers and refugees

Brings excellent communication and teamwork skills

Uses dynamic, engaging teaching methods

Holds relevant ESOL/EFL qualifications, general teaching qualifications are also welcome in addition
Experience with ESOL students and supporting learners to develop strong literacy skills will be especially valued.
