Full job description

This is a great opportunity to take on the next steps in your hospitality career and lead our bar at The Bricklayer's Arms, in Colchester as Bar Team Leader. In a new era in hospitality, make your mark and really drive it forwards, embracing our ‘Ownership with Personality’ values.

To be a successful Bar Team leader you will need;

Proven experience as part of a Food & Beverage Team, a leadership role is advantageous
Thirst to drive and improve standards across all areas of our food and beverage areas, with an eye for detail- delivering best in class experiences with personality and warmth
Ability to lead, inspire, train a team, helping maintain high standards whilst being fair and consistent

In return we ask you to:

Lead service from the front - taking guests orders, serving food and drinks, taking payments and giving great service to customers
Meet all site standards of service & lead the team to do the same leading to a great guest experience.
Have a good understanding serving coffees, alcohol and wine to both a bar and restaurant environment.
Opening and closing shifts, including cash ups and end of day sign offs
Aid in developing & mentoring the Food & Beverage team to deliver great service.
Have a willingness to continue your development with both in-house and external training sessions.
