Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trainee Passive Fire Estimator to join our team. The Trainee Estimator will play a role in the preparation of cost estimates for various projects, ensuring that all financial aspects are accurately assessed and documented. This position requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers to deliver precise estimates that align with project goals.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements to ensure all costs are accounted for.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations.
- Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle, identifying any discrepancies or potential issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, and labour costs to inform estimations.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on estimated costs to management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts for upcoming projects.
Experience
- Previous estimating experience beneficial but not necessary .
- Must have good literacy and math skills.
