Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Body Shop Technician to join our dynamic team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition after collisions or damage. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle is meticulously repaired with precision and care, delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a team dedicated to excellence in vehicle repair, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to make a real difference every day.

Duties

Perform comprehensive repairs on vehicles, including body panel replacement, dent removal, and frame straightening.
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components.
Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the scope of repairs needed.
Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations by following manufacturer guidelines.
Lift heavy vehicle parts and components safely using proper techniques and equipment for heavy lifting tasks.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use.
Collaborate with estimators and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto body repair or related fields.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Prior experience working in an auto body shop or collision repair facility is preferred but not required.
