Job Advert Description

NPCC Apprentice

At North Wales Police we have a great opportunity for an Apprentice with our National Police Chief’s Council (NPCC) team to provide general administration and support.

You will obtain a solid grounding in business administration within North Wales Police and work towards the completion of a NVQ level 2 in Business Administration. The training programme will include general administration within the designated business area within North Wales Police.

Key accountabilities for the NPCC Apprentice opportunity include:

Maintain an effective and efficient manual and electronic filing system.
Produce standard business correspondence and reports.
Provide administrative support in respect of meetings. This may include attending meetings and taking minutes if required.
Data inputting and processing utilising a variety of any required IT packages. Training will be provided for any bespoke Force packages.
Deal with general telephone or written enquiries from the members of the public and other departments as required.
Collection and distribution of mail.
Work closely with other team members to support various functions and contribute to team objectives.

You will be required to demonstrate in your application the minimum requirement for the role:

4 GCSE’s at Grade C or above or equivalent level of qualification (to include Maths and English) for those awaiting their GCSE Results please provide predicted grades.
IT skills and an understanding of Microsoft Office or similar IT packages.
Good communication skills.
The ability to work well in a team.
Self-motivated and flexible.
