THE POSITION
CRS Technics Ltd is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical/Sewing Production Technician to join our Cargo Bay team in Essex. We provide high-quality component repairs to a wide range of commercial aircraft operators across the globe.

Key Responsibilities
- Disassembly & Cleaning: Disassemble and clean aircraft cargo nets, webbing, and seat restraints safely and efficiently.
- Inspection & Diagnosis: Inspect components to identify required repairs, maintenance, or part replacements.
- Repair & Reassembly: Perform repairs and carefully reassemble cargo nets and restraints to exact quality standards.
- Quality & Compliance: Work in accordance with technical publications, Part 145 regulations, and company safety procedures.
- Workshop Standards: Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas to uphold high workshop housekeeping and health & safety standards.
- Documentation & Systems: Accurately record completed tasks and input job details into our IT system.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Foster a supportive "one team" culture by assisting colleagues across the workshop when needed.

- Eager to Learn: Open-minded and willing to undergo full technical training to master specialized skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Displays strong precision, care, and thoroughness when working with materials, webbing, or mechanical parts.
- Team Player: Demonstrates an inclusive, collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-Starter: Demonstrates personal initiative, reliability, and a positive, practical attitude.
- Basic IT Literacy: Comfortable using computer applications (such as Microsoft Word and Excel), with a willingness to learn our specialized software.
Qualifications & Experience
- No formal engineering qualifications or prior aviation experience required—full, nationally recognized training is provided on the job.
- Experience in textiles, upholstery, assembly, or manual crafts is a plus, but not essential.
- Must speak and write English.
- Must hold valid UK work authorization and be able to commute to Wendens Ambo, Saffron Walden. (Relocating to Braintree December 2026)
