Salary: £13.75

Care Home Housekeeper and Care Home Laundry Assistant
Location: Northcare Suites, Leith
Hours: Full-time
Salary: £13.75 per hour

We are looking for a reliable and caring Housekeeper to join our friendly and supportive team in Northcare Suites, Leith. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

Clean and maintain residents' rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms.
Carry out laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and storing clothing and linen.
Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times.
Replenish cleaning supplies and report maintenance issues as required.
Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout the home.
Treat residents with dignity, respect, and kindness.

What We're Looking For

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Friendly, dependable, and compassionate approach.
Understanding of health and safety procedures.
Right to work in the UK – please note Northcare is unable to sponsor employment of international workers
