Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking skilled a CNC Turner & a CNC Miller that can program and set machines to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong background in programming CNC machinery and have the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. This role is crucial for ensuring precision in manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and quality of our production line. We also need CNC Operators with some knowledge but will be given training.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for various machining processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Assemble and configure tooling for CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
Utilise CAD software to create detailed designs and simulations prior to production.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions.
Perform quality control inspections on finished products, ensuring they meet specifications.
Maintain an organised workspace within the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in using SolidWorks and other CAD software for design purposes.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and systems.
Experience with logic controllers and basic maths skills for programming accuracy.
Familiarity with welding processes and tooling assembly is advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
