As a Production Assembly Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating assembly activities to ensure products are built efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. You will provide day-to-day leadership in the Workshop, ensuring orders are met while maintaining compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and company procedure.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate assembly team activities to meet daily production schedules
- Monitor performance, productivity, and quality, resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Train and mentor team members, ensuring correct methods and adherence to standard operating procedures
- Conduct regular inspections for safety, quality, and housekeeping compliance
- Collaborate positively and effectively with various departments to optimize production flow
- Maintain accurate records of output, materials, and attendance
- Lead problem-solving initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement projects
- Ensure staff compliance with health and safety policies and maintain a positive, safe working environment
- Support with recruitment and onboarding of new team members
Skills and Experience
- Currently working in a supervisory role with proven experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Must have Hydraulics experience
- Must have a strong understanding of Hydraulics
- Must have basic understanding of electrical circuitry
- Level 3 Engineering Fitter Apprenticeship qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong Mechanical knowledge and skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Competent in using production monitoring systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
- Proven track record of implementing change
