Stock & Inventory Control Administrator

- Monday to Friday
- 9:00am – 6:00pm
- 1-hour unpaid lunch break
- 40 hours per week
This is a full-time, office-based position. Remote or hybrid working is not available.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and detail-focused Stock & Inventory Control Administrator to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied role combining stock control, warehouse administration, customer service and office administration. You will be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, processing customer orders, maintaining stock records and providing excellent support to customers and suppliers.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential as you will be handling high-value optical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Stock & Inventory Control
- Manage inventory using Unleashed Inventory Management Software.
- Maintain accurate stock records at all times.
- Carry out regular stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
- Process stock receipts, adjustments and stock movements.
- Monitor stock levels and report products requiring replenishment.
- Ensure inventory is organised and accurately recorded.
Picking, Packing & Goods In
- Pick customer orders accurately.
- Pack products securely and professionally for dispatch.
- Receive, check and book in incoming deliveries.
- Prepare shipments and associated documentation.
- Ensure all orders leave the warehouse correctly and on time.
Customer Service
- Answer incoming telephone calls professionally.
- Respond to customer emails promptly and efficiently.
- Assist customers with order enquiries and product availability.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and stock issues.
Administration
- Raise invoices and process orders using Xero Accounting Software.
- Maintain accurate customer and supplier records.
- Assist with general office administration.
- Support other departments when required.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Experience using Unleashed Inventory Management Software.
- Experience using Xero Accounting Software.
- Previous experience in stock control and inventory management.
- Experience picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within an optics, sporting goods or technical product environment.
- An interest in optics, precision shooting, target shooting or shooting sports.
- Experience working with premium or high-value products.
- Knowledge of shipping and courier processes.

Probationary Period
The successful candidate will complete a 3-month probationary period, during which attendance, punctuality, performance and suitability for the role will be assessed.
