About the Role:
Do you have a passion for great storytelling and keeping people connected? We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our friendly team here at Health Shield on a part-time, fixed-term contract.

Reporting to our Communications and Insights Manager, you’ll play a key part in bringing our marketing plans to life across a wonderfully varied mix of work.
Main Responsibilities:
- Internal communications – keeping our people informed and engaged with important messages across the business
- Social media – planning and delivering content that grows awareness of who we are and what we do
- Content creation – helping craft compelling messages that support our wider marketing plan
- Events support – lending a hand with the coordination of internal and external events, from awards evenings to our Christmas party
- Team support – helping keep our plans, processes and admin running smoothly

About You:
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following skills, knowledge & qualifications:
Essential
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent grammar, spelling and communication skills
- Ability to work with others and on own initiative
- Ability to use social media channels
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Positive demeanour with a can-do attitude
Desirable
- Awareness of FCA regulations
- Knowledge of the health and wellbeing market
Qualifications
- Marketing qualification desirable
