Due to continued growth, FitKit UK Ltd is looking for a creative, driven and commercially minded Marketing & Content Creator to join our growing team.
FitKit UK is one of the UK's largest stockists of new and used commercial gym equipment, supplying equipment to commercial gyms, leisure facilities, hotels, private clients and home gyms across the UK.
We don't just sell gym equipment.
We buy it, sell it, deliver it, install it, relocate it and service it.
We work with some of the biggest names in the fitness industry and have a huge amount of interesting content happening around the business every single day.
We're now looking for someone who can turn that into great marketing content that gets noticed, builds our brand and ultimately generates sales.
The Role
This is a hands-on marketing and content role for someone who is creative, confident, proactive and genuinely enjoys creating content.
You will take responsibility for FitKit UK's day-to-day social media and content creation, working closely with our sales, warehouse and installation teams.
You'll be creating content around everything that happens within the business — from new equipment arriving at the warehouse and major stock purchases to commercial gym installations and complete gym transformations.
You won't be sitting behind a desk all day.
You'll be getting involved.
You'll be filming, taking photographs, creating Reels, editing videos, writing posts, managing social media and coming up with new ideas to grow the FitKit UK brand.
Occasional UK travel will be required to attend gym installations, customer projects and other opportunities where we can capture content.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Create high-quality photo and video content for FitKit UK
- Film gym equipment, installations, deliveries, warehouse activity and behind-the-scenes content
- Create engaging Reels, TikToks, Stories and short-form video content
- Photograph new, used, ex-demo and clearance equipment
- Edit video content for social media and digital marketing
- Create before-and-after installation and gym transformation content
- Produce graphics, promotional material and other digital content
- Identify interesting opportunities within the business that can be turned into marketing content
- Help develop FitKit UK's visual identity and online presence
Social Media
- Manage FitKit UK's daily social media activity
- Create and maintain a structured content calendar
- Manage LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
- Create platform-specific content rather than simply posting the same content everywhere
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to create relevant content
- Engage with followers, comments and messages
- Grow audience engagement and brand awareness
- Monitor social media performance and make improvements based on results
Marketing
- Develop creative marketing campaigns designed to generate brand awareness, engagement and enquiries
- Support promotional campaigns and product launches
- Create newsletter and email marketing campaigns
- Write and manage blog and website content
- Support SEO and website content development
- Work with external marketing agencies supporting PPC, SEO and other digital marketing activity
- Monitor agency performance and ensure campaigns are delivering value
- Use Google Analytics and social media insights to monitor performance
- Track results and identify opportunities for improvement
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure marketing activity supports commercial objectives.

About You
We're looking for someone who is creative, energetic and commercially aware, with the confidence to get involved and try new things.
You'll be someone who:
- Has a genuine passion for social media and content creation
- Is confident using a camera or smartphone to create video content
- Understands what makes people stop scrolling
- Can create content that is entertaining as well as commercially effective
- Has a good eye for photography and video
- Is comfortable editing video
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is organised and able to manage multiple projects
- Can work independently and take ownership of tasks
- Is proactive and brings new ideas to the table
- Understands that marketing should ultimately contribute to business growth
- Is comfortable working with sales, warehouse and installation teams
- Isn't afraid to get involved and get out from behind the desk
An passion or interest in fitness, gyms or gym equipment is inessential for this role.
Experience & Skills
We would ideally like you to have:
- At least 2 years' experience in marketing, content creation or social media
- Proven experience managing social media platforms
- Experience creating short-form video content
- Experience with photography and video editing
- Experience creating content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar software
- Experience with email marketing and newsletters
- An understanding of SEO and digital marketing
- Experience working with PPC, SEO or external marketing agencies
- An understanding of Google Analytics and social media insights
A strong portfolio of work will be highly regarded.
If you've created social media accounts, campaigns, videos, Reels, TikToks, photography or other content that you're proud of, we want to see it.
The Person We're Looking For
This role will suit someone who doesn't want to be another small cog in a large marketing department.
You'll have the opportunity to take ownership of FitKit UK's content and social media presence and see your ideas actually go live.
We're looking for someone who will say:
"I've got an idea..."
rather than:
"What do you want me to post?"

What We Offer
- £27,000 – £30,000 per year, depending on experience
- Full-time, permanent position

Important Information
This is an office-based role only.
Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of NN6 6JU.
There is no remote or hybrid working option for this position.
The role will also involve occasional UK travel to attend gym installations, customer projects and other locations to capture content.
