Events Assistant – JAM Events
Location: Cumnock, East Ayrshire

Schedule: Weekday and weekend availability required
About the Role
JAM Events is looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Events Assistant to join our growing team.
This is a varied, hands-on role working across weddings and events throughout Scotland, alongside preparing and organising events from our Cumnock warehouse.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced working environment, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right.
This is a physically active role and involves regularly loading, carrying, setting up and dismantling event décor and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and packing décor and equipment for upcoming events
- Setting up weddings and events at venues across Scotland
- Dismantling events and collecting décor
- Loading and unloading company vehicles
- Cleaning, preparing and maintaining event stock
- Keeping the warehouse and company vehicles clean and organised
- Checking orders and ensuring the correct items are packed for each event
- Handling event décor and equipment carefully
- Working efficiently to venue and event timescales
- Working independently and as part of the wider JAM Events team
- Maintaining a professional standard when working at venues and around clients
- Following company procedures and health & safety requirements
About You

Previous experience within weddings or events would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
Working Pattern
Due to the nature of the events industry, working days and times vary depending on our event schedule.
Applicants should have good flexibility across weekdays and weekends.
Additional hours may be available during busier periods.
