Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product and Website Assistant to join our dynamic Purchasing team, at Simply Thank you Ltd. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across various digital platforms, supporting the development, maintenance, and optimisation of our websites for our clients and customers with physical and digital products.
Responsibilities
Working closely with Marketing, Customer Care, Suppliers, and Account Management teams, the postholder will support the smooth operation of product set-up, website merchandising, and customer and client gifting programmes.
Product & Website Administration
- Maintain accurate product information across all company websites and systems.
- Add new products to websites, ensuring imagery, descriptions, pricing, and specifications are complete and accurate.
- Source, edit, or create product images and write engaging product descriptions.
- Update existing product photography and content where required.
- Remove discontinued products from websites and ensure they are correctly archived within internal systems.
- Ensure slow-moving or aged stock is promoted appropriately across relevant websites.
Customer & Product Range Support
- Create and maintain customer-specific product and gift lists based on briefs from Account Managers.
- Set up gifts against client lists, ensuring the correct packaging, wrapping, and fulfilment requirements are applied.
- Support the Customer Care teams by identifying and sourcing alternative products when items become discontinued.
- Assist with seasonal range reviews and product selections for both B2B and B2C customers.
Pricing & System Management
- Process pricing updates and supplier price list imports into internal systems.
- Update API pricing files in line with supplier information on a quarterly basis.
- Support with the company margin calculator, ensuring all current products are accurately represented.
- Support product, packaging, and client wrap changes through importing and exporting Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Marketing & Supplier Support
- Work closely with the Marketing team to provide product content for:
- Website banners
- LinkedIn posts
- Email signatures
- Promotional campaigns
- Liaise with suppliers to develop trade offers and promotional activity.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of promotional website content.
Order & Process Administration
- Manage and place ad hoc API orders as required.
- Ensure product-related data is accurately maintained across all systems.
- Support continuous improvement of product management processes and website content.
Skills and Experience

- Good written communication skills with the ability to write product descriptions and content.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive, proactive approach with a willingness to learn.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience of e-commerce, website administration, or product management.
- Basic image editing or photography skills.
- Experience using content management systems (CMS), ERP, or stock management systems.
- Understanding of pricing, margins, and product data management.
