44-hour week

Shift pattern: Monday - Sunday, 8:00am - 8:00pm, including every other weekend (5-day pattern may also be available)

Are you passionate about cars, love helping customers, and enjoy working independently? Join Halfords as a Mobile Technician and bring your skills directly to our customers' driveways.

As a Mobile Technician, you'll use your technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and customer service skills to keep our customers moving. After collecting your fully equipped van from the local Hub, our smart technology will guide you through your daily route as you carry out a wide range of repairs and services at customers' homes and workplaces.

Alongside full training to support any gaps in your current skillset, you'll have access to a range of development opportunities designed to help you build your career in the automotive industry. This includes industry-recognised IMI certifications in Electric Vehicle (EV) and Air Conditioning systems, as well as a variety of in-house technical training courses covering servicing, tyres, batteries, dash cams, and windscreen chip repairs. Whether you're looking to broaden your technical expertise or take the next step in your automotive career, we'll provide the support and development to help you succeed.

With full training provided, your day-to-day work could include:

Tyre fitting
Dash-cam fitting
Battery replacement
Air-con services
Windscreen repairs
Oil & filter changes

Skills and Experience

Previous experience as a Tyre Fitter or in other vehicle repair work is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills and experience
Ability to problem-solve and work on your own initiative
A genuine passion for cars, motoring, and delivering great customer service
A current valid driving licence with no more than 6 points
