Job Description
Trainee Ear Wax Removal Assistant
Location: Ear Wax Clinic Leicester
Hours: 20 hours per week (Part-time) – Monday to Saturday, 10:00am–2:00pm, with overtime expected on some weekday evenings and weekends
We are looking for a motivated, professional, and reliable Trainee Ear Wax Removal Assistant to join our growing team at Ear Wax Clinic Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on clinical experience who is looking to expand their skills within a supportive and specialist healthcare environment.
Working Hours
- 20 hours per week, worked Monday to Saturday, 10:00am–2:00pm
- Overtime is expected during busy periods, including some weekday evenings and weekends
- Flexibility is essential to meet clinic demand and support additional clinics where required
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clinicians with ear wax removal procedures (full training provided)
- Preparing treatment rooms, equipment, and consumables for appointments
- Supporting excellent patient care and ensuring a welcoming, professional experience
- Maintaining high hygiene, infection control, and clinical standards
- Sterilising and preparing equipment in line with clinic protocols
- Assisting with general administrative and day-to-day clinic support duties as required
- Supporting clinic operations across locations when needed
Requirements
- Hands-on clinical experience is essential. Applicants must have practical patient-facing clinical experience, such as phlebotomy, dental nursing/assisting, dentistry, healthcare assistant, nursing, or a similar clinical role.
- Please note: Administrative or reception experience alone is not sufficient for this position.
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A caring, calm, and professional approach to patient care
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a team
