- A full-time 37.5 hour job opportunity has arisen, to ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner to ensure an efficient reception and quality service to all users.
- The post holder will be interactive with the General Public, Nursing, Medical staff and other Trust Administrative and Clerical Staff.
As a Ward Clerk you will be able to work on your own using your initiative, managing your own workload as well as being part of a supportive, energetic team.
You will be responsible for providing all administrative duties from answering the telephone, updating and ensuring prompt admission and discharges, filing, making case notes and lots more.
Experience of working in the NHS is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.
You must be computer literate desirable to the NHS systems and have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to approach families in a sensitive manner.
