Costain has been appointed to design and construct the West Winch Housing Access Road (WWHAR) for Norfolk County Council (NCC). The project is in 3 stages
The project team will mobilise in Stage 1 to lead the design and ECI with a whole project lifecycle approach. The team will deliver a design that enables a Safe, Efficient, Right First Time construction and efficient handover into maintenance, for both NCC and NH assets.
The new housing access road will connect the A10 to the A47 to the west of West Winch.
The NCC project will also include works to enhance the A47 near to Kings Lynn, requiring 800m of dualling of the A47, a new roundabout to connect to the housing access road and reconfiguration of the existing Hardwick Interchange – all National Highways (NH) assets.
As a Senior Administrator, you will be a multi-disciplined team member supporting the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and enabling the successful construction of the WWHAR. You will facilitate the activities of the project team with administration and logistical duties .
In Stage 1 you will be based from home and/or local office facilities and you will assist the project team as they carry out site inspections and surveys. You will be required to support the team in multiple local locations and may need to attend the Client office in Norwich. You may need to provide logistical support, such as collecting team members from the station, transporting equipment. You will support with finance and health and safety administration.
In stage 2 you will be based from the site facilities and will support the SLT, the financial team and Safety, Health and Environment team
Training will be provided for necessary construction related qualifications where needed and appropriate, such as health and safety qualifications and tests such as the CSCS scheme. Subject to meeting appropriate criteria Costain would support you achieving appropriate business administration and/or accountancy qualifications including through day release options during your employment.
