We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of property maintenance and refurbishment tasks across residential properties. This is a physically demanding role that requires a positive attitude, good work ethic, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Install roof insulation in accordance with company standards.
- Clean and prepare properties before, during, and after refurbishment works.
- Strip wallpaper and prepare walls for further decoration or repair.
- Remove wall and floor tiles using appropriate tools and safe working practices.
- Assist with unloading, moving, and organising building materials and equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Support skilled tradespeople with general labouring duties as required.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.
- Carry out other general site duties as directed by supervisors.
Essential Requirements
- Previous labouring or construction experience is desirable but not essential.
- Physically fit and capable of carrying out manual handling tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take instruction.
- A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
