Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Retirement Living Development Scheme Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Retirement Living Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for co-managing the scheme efficiently and ensuring the well-being and safety of residents.
Duties:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the sheltered housing scheme
- Hours - 21 hours per weeks over three days 9am to 4pm including some Monday to Saturday.
- Coordinate and oversee resident activities and events
- Ensure the safety and security of residents within the scheme
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to residents and the facility
- Handle resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with external agencies and service providers to meet residents' needs
- Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of the scheme's communal areas
- Implement health and safety procedures within the scheme
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housing management or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to negotiate effectively with residents, staff, and external partners
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in housing environments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
