Full job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic Head Cook or Chef to lead our kitchen.

Working hours 7am-3pm Monday-Friday.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of new managment working closely with the business owner, you'll play a key role in developing menus, introducing fresh ideas and creating a food offering that employees genuinely look forward to each day.

About the Role

Based within Encirc's busy staff canteen, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day kitchen operation, serving freshly prepared breakfasts, lunches and hospitality catering for employees and visitors.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and serving fresh, high-quality breakfasts and lunches.
Leading the daily running of the kitchen.
Working alongside the business owner to develop menus and seasonal specials.
Ordering stock and managing food costs.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards.
Supporting and leading the kitchen team.
Delivering a consistently high standard of food and customer service.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience as a Head Cook, Chef or Senior Cook.
Enjoys preparing fresh, homemade food.
Is organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Has excellent communication and leadership skills.
Takes pride in producing high-quality food.
Is enthusiastic about helping to build and develop a new catering operation.
