Class Instructor – Permanent Weekly Class

Every week as part of the timetable - Monday Lunchtime and Thursday Lunchtime to start. Ideally wanting to fill the existing class Instructor spots - options for discussion. Wednesday / Thursday options up for discussion also.

Job Summary

Join our vibrant wellness community as a Class Instructor, where you'll inspire and guide clients through dynamic classes designed to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall well-being. Your energetic approach will motivate participants of all levels to achieve their fitness goals while fostering a positive and engaging environment. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to share your passion for movement, promote healthy lifestyles, and make a meaningful impact on our members’ lives As we move into our next exciting chapter as Immerse.

Duties

Recognised Level 2 gym instructor qualification.
Exercise to music qualification.
Desirable level 3 (or equivalent) Qualification.
Active Public Liability Insurance.
Valid Emergency First Aid at Work certificate ideal.
Proven experience managing mixed-ability groups.
Lead engaging classes tailored to diverse skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety for all participants
Demonstrate exercises clearly, providing modifications and progressions to accommodate individual needs
Educate clients on anatomy principles relevant to class movements to enhance understanding and prevent injury
Monitor class dynamics, offering personalised feedback to maximise effectiveness and motivation
Maintain a clean, organised studio environment, ensuring equipment is sanitized and ready for use
Stay updated on the industry best practices through ongoing professional development

Experience

Proven experience coaching or similar fitness modalities in a group or one-on-one setting
Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly related to core strength, flexibility, and posture alignment
Background in sports coaching or physical education is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and connect with diverse clients
Prior experience with teaching or coaching enhances your ability to deliver clear instructions and adapt to individual needs
