Job Overview
Freelance Music Tutor – Violin

Music Collective Scotland | Dundee & Arbroath

Music Collective Scotland is looking to expand our teaching team and is seeking enthusiastic freelance music tutors , piano and singing.

This role would suit an experienced tutor, recent graduate, or music student looking for regular, term-time teaching in a supportive and well-established music school.

Role details:

Teaching children and young people (beginners to intermediate levels)
One-to-one
Term-time work with regular weekly pupils
Flexible days and hours to suit your availability (Sat preferably)

Essential requirements:

Grade 8 (or equivalent) playing ability on your instrument
Music degree preferred (or currently studying at higher education level)
Confident, reliable and friendly teaching approach
Ability to work with children and young people

What we provide:

Freelance tutor position
All admin, marketing and pupil bookings handled by the school
Teaching space provided – no room hire charges
Payment protection – tutors are paid for scheduled teaching
Supportive team environment and ongoing work
