Job Summary E-Commerce Sales & Buying Assistant

Cash Converters | Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded E-Commerce Sales & Buying Assistant to join our team at Cash Converters.

This is a varied role combining buying, product knowledge, online sales, customer service and stock management. You will play an important part in sourcing quality products, pricing them competitively and maximising sales across our online channels.

Key Responsibilities

Assess, price and purchase a wide range of second-hand and new products.
Research products and market prices to ensure competitive buying and selling decisions.
Create and maintain accurate online listings, including photographs, descriptions, specifications and pricing.
Manage online sales from listing through to dispatch.
Respond professionally to customer enquiries and online messages.
Monitor stock levels and identify products with strong sales potential.
Identify opportunities to maximise margins and improve online sales.
Process incoming stock and ensure products meet company quality standards.
Keep up to date with current products, technology, fashion, gaming and consumer trends.
Work towards individual and store sales targets.
Ensure excellent customer service both in-store and online.
Assist with general store duties when required.

Sales focused and commercially aware
Confident negotiating prices and making buying decisions
Comfortable using computers and online selling platforms
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Confident communicating with customers
Interested in products, brands and current market trends
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Motivated by targets and achieving results
Reliable, energetic and willing to learn

Previous experience in e-commerce, retail sales, buying, eBay or online marketplaces would be an advantage, but full training will be provided for the right person.

Hours

Full-time (37.5 HOURS PER WEEK)

Salary

£ 24,784+ potential bonuses/incentives
