Full job description

Banner Contracts is looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Plant Operators to join our growing contract crushing and screening team.

This is a hands-on role working on quarrying, recycling and infrastructure projects across the UK. We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious operators who take pride in operating and maintaining modern heavy plant while supporting efficient crushing and screening operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a range of heavy plant safely and efficiently.
Feed crushing and screening plants to maximise production.
Load road wagons and build/manage stockpiles.
Carry out daily inspections and basic maintenance of plant.
Work closely with Supervisors to achieve production targets.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety.
Report defects and assist with planned maintenance.
Assist with plant setup, mobilisation and site moves.
Follow all company health, safety and environmental procedures.

About You

Previous experience within quarrying, recycling or contract crushing operations.
Competent operating a variety of mobile plant.
Experience feeding crushers and screeners.
Good understanding of material handling and stockpile management.
Mechanically minded with the ability to identify and report defects.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Willing to travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.
Full UK driving licence.

Essential Qualifications & Tickets

CPCS or NPORS Mobile Plant Operator Cards.
Competent on one or more of the following:
Excavator
Loading Shovel
Articulated Dump Truck (ADT)
Dozer
Telehandler (desirable)
Crusher and Screener operator tickets are advantageous.
