Duties
- Assist experienced painters and decorators in preparing surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling imperfections
- Learn to apply primers, paints, varnishes, and wallpapers using appropriate tools and techniques
- Support the team in setting up work areas safely and efficiently before each project
- Follow instructions carefully to ensure high standards of finish and attention to detail
- Help with maintaining tools and equipment in excellent condition for ongoing use
- Observe safety procedures at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks smoothly
Skills
- Valid driving license is preferred to support transportation between sites
- Basic understanding of construction painting techniques or willingness to learn on the job
- Proficiency in English for clear communication with team members and clients
- Strong communication skills to ask questions, follow instructions, and work collaboratively
- Motivated attitude with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently in a busy construction environment
