Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of various vehicles. This role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality service while ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and safety of our garage.

There is a possibility of multiple candidates needed due to planed expansion but there are no set dates yet

Responsibilities

Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as required.
Perform equipment repair and maintenance tasks on various vehicles.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs.
Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and address any concerns regarding their vehicles - WHERE REQUIRED but this is not a customer facing role.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and equipment repair techniques is essential.
Excellent communication skills and being able to adequeately inform colleagues, workshop manager and front of house.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work quality.

Diagnosis ability is a big thing for us but not a deal breaker. Being able to learn on the job is also key. Mobile technician experience could be useful but not required.

MOT license is a bonus but not essential.
