We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Eastbourne Vets on a full-time basis.
Eastbourne Vets are looking for a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join our welcoming team. As the first point of contact for our clients, you'll play a key role in creating a warm, positive experience while keeping our busy reception running smoothly. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our thriving small animal practice in Eastbourne, nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park and just moments from the beautiful south coast.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.
You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.
Working Pattern
- Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 7:30 pm
- Rostered Saturdays 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Answering queries via telephone and email
- Booking and managing appointments using our Merlin practice management system
- Processing payments and end-of-day cash procedures
- Maintaining stock levels and supporting with deliveries
- Keeping up high standards and developing product knowledge to assist with candidate queries
