Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out joinery duties across a mobile portfolio of customer sites. This is not a static, single-site position.
- Travel between sites to complete responsive, planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Complete repairs, maintenance and remedial works to fire doors, ensuring compliance with relevant fire-door standards.
- Work in accordance with company policies, instructions and training.
- Complete timesheets, job sheets and other relevant documentation accurately and to the satisfaction of your line manager.
- Use authorised plant, tools and equipment provided by the company.
- Work independently while supporting the wider operational team.
- Maintain a professional approach when dealing with customers at each site.
Skills & Knowledge
- City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification in Joinery or Carpentry.
- Considerable experience working as a Joiner or Carpenter.
- Previous experience completing planned, responsive and reactive maintenance works.
- Good knowledge of fire doors and fire-door compliance.
- Ability to work independently across multiple customer sites.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
