Grade UE07: £41,064 - £ 48, 822 per annum

College of Arts, Humanities and Social Science / School of Economics

Full-time: 35 hours per week

Fixed-term: for 24 months

The School of Economics is seeking to appoint one Stipendiary Fellow on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 24 months. This post is expected to commence in September 2026.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking outstanding candidates of demonstrated ability and high potential in the area of behavioural and experimental economics.

The role is aimed at final stage PhD students, or recent PhDs in Economics, who are seeking the opportunity to focus on teaching and research and to establish their credibility as candidates in the job market. We are looking for candidates with teaching and research expertise in Behavioural and Experimental Economics The role will be split between research (35%) and teaching (65%). Teaching could be at either or both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

The Successful candidate will receive:

Personal mentoring support from a senior academic in the School of Economics;

This is a full-time, fixed-term post for 24 months only with a start date of 1 st September 2026, or shortly thereafter.
