Overview

Are you passionate about creating engaging, accurate, and compelling web content? We are seeking a dynamic Junior Web Content Editor to join our vibrant digital team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the online presence of our organization by editing, proofreading, and enhancing web content to ensure clarity, consistency, and excellence.

Duties

Review and edit web content for accuracy, clarity, and tone, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and audience expectations
Fact-check information to maintain credibility and reliability of published materials
Write creative and engaging copy for various web pages, including articles, blog posts, and product descriptions
Proofread content meticulously to eliminate grammatical errors, typos, and inconsistencies
Collaborate with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop compelling proposals and content strategies
Utilize word processing tools to organize and format content efficiently for publishing
Conduct regular audits of website content to identify areas for improvement or updates

Qualifications

Strong copywriting skills with an ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging messages
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
Proven ability to proofread meticulously with attention to detail
Familiarity with fact-checking processes and journalistic standards
Proficiency in word processing software such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs
Basic understanding of content management systems (CMS) is a plus but not required

Pay: £24,500.00 per year
