Full job description

Founded in Edinburgh in 2019, led by Scottish perfumer Euan McCall, Jorum creates modern, poetic fragrances that capture the beauty of nature with an unconventional spirit.

Creating everything in-house, Jorum Studio offers an ever-evolving perspective on modern fragrance, blending classical techniques with innovative and unique compositions to allow the wearer's creativity and sense of expression to shine.
Known for our creative style and focus on quality, the brand is stocked in over 120 retailers worldwide, as well as our flagship boutiques in Edinburgh’s Stockbridge and our London flagship in Marylebone.

We are recruiting for a confident, dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our small yet creative team. This will be a very engaged role involving many different aspects of a fast-growing business and will require someone with a passion for people and fragrance alike. Working from our Edinburgh boutique, you will act as an ambassador for the brand, assisting with the daily operations of the store and ensuring all customers receive a quality experience.

Job Title: Part-Time Team Member

Location: Jorum Studio, Stockbridge, Edinburgh

What You'll Be Doing:

Deliver a warm, engaging and memorable experience for every customer who visits the store.
Develop authentic connections by offering considered fragrance guidance and confident product knowledge.
Contribute to store sales goals while keeping excellent customer service at the heart of every interaction.
Handle customer questions and requests in person, by telephone and via email.
Supporting day-to-day store operations with enthusiasm and attention to detail.
Delivering a high standard of customer service and care.
Assisting the store team across a variety of tasks, adapting to the needs of the business.
Contributing positively to a collaborative and creative team environment.
Play an active role in keeping the store running efficiently each day.
Receive and process deliveries, replenish products and help ensure stock records remain accurate.
Maintain a clean, organised and inviting shop environment.
Assist with store opening and closing responsibilities.
Uphold Jorum's visual identity and presentation standards throughout the store.
Present products thoughtfully and consistently, reflecting the Jorum aesthetic across the shop floor.

What We're Looking For:

A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends and busy periods.
Willingness to take on additional hours, with overtime opportunities available.
A hands-on attitude with a willingness to go the extra mile.
Excellent communication skills, and a positive mindset.
Someone who is dependable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
Retail or customer-facing experience would be advantageous.
A genuine passion for providing thoughtful and memorable customer service.
An interest in fragrance is preferrable but not essential.
Confident using digital tools and technology.
