Catering Assistant
Erskine Edinburgh Home, Gilmerton
37.5 hours per week, 5 over 7 days
(Shifts: 07:30-15:00 & 11:00–18:30)
Grade 1 Salary £27,257 to £27,278 per annum (£13.98 to £13.99 per hour)
Permanent, Full-Time Role

Closing Date: Sunday, 2nd August 2026

The Role:
The post-holder will have continuing responsibility for supporting the provision of a high quality catering service to residents, staff and visitors in Erskine at all times. Working as part of a team, duties will include cleaning of kitchen, kitchen equipment (use of industrial pot wash machine) and dining areas. Unloading and putting away stock. Also serving food, beverages and on occasion the preparation of basic food.
