About Us

Haddo Woodland Kindergarten is a nature-based, outdoor kindergarten where children learn, explore, and grow through play in the natural environment. Our approach encourages curiosity, creativity, independence and resilience, while fostering a deep connection with nature. We believe children thrive when they have the freedom to explore outdoors in all seasons.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team to cover staff absence and holidays.

Key Responsibilities

Support the daily care and supervision of children aged [e.g. 2-6 years]

Assist in planning and delivering outdoor learning activities

Encourage children’s exploration, creativity, and independence through play

Help maintain a safe outdoor environment and follow health & safety procedures

Assist with setting up and packing away outdoor equipment and resources

Observe and record children’s learning and development as guided by senior staff

Work closely with the team to support children’s holistic health and wellbeing

What We’re Looking For

A highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in working with young children

Passionate about providing engaging outdoor learning opportunities in all weather conditions

A positive, caring, and reliable attitude

Good communication and teamwork skills

Basic English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent preferred but not always essential)
