In this dynamic role, you will work with our international M&A practice to advise private equity and venture capital portfolio companies and corporate owners on the strategic and operational factors that can impact a potential recapitalization, financing, or exit to a strategic or financial buyer. You will lead operational and technology assessments, coach management teams through challenging diligence topics, identify opportunities for value creation, and collaborate with investment banks and other advisors to refine the narrative around a company's technology and operations.
Our SSA model leverages experienced entrepreneurs, seasoned operators, and veteran deals professionals to identify risk and opportunity. You will help grow our London office and offering through strategy, recruiting, team building, and practice development.

- Confidently coach client executives on how to articulate value derived from technology and operations and how to navigate potentially challenging diligence topics
- Facilitate sell-side vendor due diligence (VDD) projects focused on operational and technology strategy, organisational structures and operating models, and current-state business processes and supporting technology
- De-risk exit processes through sell-side diligence efforts and the development of strategies for critical-issue remediation
- Identify strategic opportunities and quantify potential for value creation
- Lead engagement teams on transaction advisory, guiding teams to prepare focused request lists and agendas, facilitating client reviews, and providing accountability for deliverables
- Lead large, transformational programmes as part of carve-out or merger integration transactions, providing strategy, quality assurance, and PMO support across functional and technical areas
- Drive the development and enhancement of West Monroe's M&A methodologies and approaches to client delivery, including diligence, exit readiness, planning, and carve-out execution
- Manage project economics, including pricing estimates, risk assessments, project budgets, invoices, and collections
- Lead business development across investment banks, private equity firms, portfolio companies, and corporate clients; create work plans, pricing estimates, risk assessments, and detailed proposals
- Coach, manage, recruit, and retain top-quality consultants; actively participate in the performance review process; and contribute to the continued growth of the London office through recruiting, team building, and practice development
