At Peleman Industries, we help professionals present and preserve their information in a sustainable, personal and professional way. From our UK office in Horsham, we are looking for a creative and commercially minded colleague who can connect digital communication with real human interaction.

Your role

As Customer Engagement & Sales Executive, you help strengthen the relationship between Peleman Industries and its customers throughout their customer journey.

You create relevant digital content, support segment focused campaigns and engage with customers through social media, email, telephone and other digital channels.

You follow up people who have interacted with our content, campaigns or websites. These are mainly existing customers, previous customers and warm contacts who already know Peleman Industries or have shown an interest in our solutions.

Your aim is not to approach customers with a hard sales message. You listen, ask questions, understand their needs and inspire them with products or applications that could be relevant to their business.

The role combines creative marketing with customer engagement. You will therefore spend part of your time developing content and increasing our digital visibility, and part of your time speaking directly with customers and following up commercial opportunities.

What will you do?

Social media and content

Create and publish engaging content for our social media channels.
Translate our products and solutions into relevant stories, applications and visual content.
Create or coordinate posts, photographs, videos, customer stories and other digital content.
Actively look for trends, topics and communities that are relevant to our target segments.
Help increase the visibility of Peleman Industries within selected markets and customer groups.
Respond to online interactions and encourage conversations with customers and prospects.
Feel comfortable representing Peleman Industries online and, where relevant, appearing in photographs or video content yourself.

Customer engagement

Follow up customers and warm leads who have interacted with our emails, websites, campaigns or social media content.
Contact customers by telephone, email, social media or other digital channels.
Ask the right questions to understand the customer’s business, needs and interests.
Inspire customers with suitable applications, products and solutions.
Build and maintain positive relationships with existing customers.
Reconnect with customers who have not purchased from Peleman Industries for some time.
Recognise opportunities for additional products, new applications or further collaboration.
Ensure that conversations and opportunities are followed up consistently.

Customer insight and feedback

Listen carefully to customer questions, reactions and ideas.
Gather testimonials, practical examples and customer stories.
Share relevant feedback with the Marketing and Sales teams.
Help identify what customers respond to and where communication or campaigns could be improved.
Contribute ideas for customer journeys, campaigns and segment focused communication.
Show interest in understanding results and learning what works and what does not. You do not need to be a technical data analyst.

Campaigns and customer journeys

Contribute to campaigns aimed at engaging, activating and retaining customers.
Support initiatives that encourage repeat purchases, additional purchases and renewed customer activity.
Help ensure that customers receive communication that is relevant to their interests and stage in the customer journey.
Provide practical customer and market input to colleagues responsible for CRM, data, marketing automation and campaign performance.
Help turn customer reactions and market signals into concrete ideas and actions.

Collaboration

Work closely with the UK Sales team and with the central Marketing team in Belgium.
Collaborate with colleagues specialised in content, brand, data, performance marketing, CRM and marketing automation.
Bring the voice of the customer and the reality of the UK market into that collaboration.
Contribute ideas, test different approaches and help improve campaigns based on customer feedback and results.
Work independently on your own activities while actively seeking the expertise and input of your colleagues.

What do you bring?

Experience or a relevant qualification in marketing, communications, digital media, customer engagement, commercial communication or a related field.
Experience creating content for social media or other digital channels.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Confidence in speaking with customers by telephone and through digital channels.
An interest in customer relationship management, email marketing and marketing automation.
The ability to work with a CRM system and record customer contacts accurately.
An interest in campaign results and customer behaviour, without needing to be a technical specialist in data or reporting.
Experience with photography, video, community management, customer service or commercial lead follow up is an advantage.
