XEIAD is a specialist engineering inspection consultancy delivering high‑quality inspections and assessments on critical infrastructure assets. Using specialist access techniques such as rope access, diving and confined space working, their expert engineers inspect structures including bridges, tunnels and culverts, providing reliable insight to help asset owners manage risk and maintain safety.
What will you be doing?
As a Graduate Engineer for XEIAD, part of British Engineering Services Group, you will support the delivery of structural inspections, investigations and surveys on a wide range of civil engineering assets. Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll gain hands-on experience inspecting and assessing structures including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, gantries, lighting towers and masts.
You will also:
- Carry out inspections of bridges, tunnels, retaining walls and other infrastructure assets across the UK.
- Support the planning and delivery of structural inspections, investigations and surveys.
- Record asset condition information and identify defects accurately on site.
- Produce clear technical reports to support engineering recommendations.
- Work safely in a range of environments using specialist inspection and access equipment.
- Develop your technical skills through structured training, professional development and competency programmes.

To join our team, you will need:
- Degree in Engineering related field and have achieved minimum 2:1
- Graduate membership of a relevant institution e.g. ICE
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to organise and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Passionate about developing a career within infrastructure engineering.
- Willing to travel and work on site across the UK.
- Full UK driving licence.
