As an Insurance Consultant within our Existing Business team, you'll be responsible for looking after an established portfolio of clients and helping us maintain an exceptional 98% client retention rate.
This is a busy, client focused role for an experienced insurance professional who takes pride in providing excellent advice and service. You'll manage renewals, midterm adjustments and client queries, combining strong relationship building skills with commercial awareness to achieve both individual and team objectives.

What you'll be responsible for
- Managing an established portfolio of existing clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Achieving individual and team retention objectives while consistently meeting service KPIs and workflow standards.
- Handling renewals, midterm adjustments and client queries efficiently, accurately and professionally.
- Providing clear, expert insurance advice and recommending appropriate solutions based on each client's individual circumstances.
- Confidently explaining policy cover, features, benefits, exclusions and options so clients can make informed decisions.
- Identifying opportunities to improve clients' cover and ensure their insurance continues to meet their needs.
- Negotiating effectively with insurers to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
- Managing more complex cases with confidence, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintaining up to date knowledge of products, underwriting criteria and developments within the insurance market.
- Taking ownership of your workload and ensuring deadlines, service standards and client expectations are consistently met.
- Following internal procedures, regulatory requirements and quality standards at all times.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a seamless and consistently high quality client experience.
What we're looking for
Previous experience within home/property insurance or a closely related insurance role is essential.

- Works well as part of a team but doesn't need to be constantly supervised or prompted.
- Is motivated to learn, develop specialist knowledge and build a long term career with the business.
