Our professional Driver Training Programme, worth approximately £5,000, is designed to help you succeed from day one.

Pay & Benefits

£16.07 per hour for qualified drivers
£14.90 per hour while training
Fully paid Driver Training Course worth approximately £5,000
Weekly pay
Guaranteed 40-hour contracts available
Morning and afternoon school services with part-time opportunities available
5.6 weeks’ paid holiday

Essential Requirements

Category B Driving Licence
Minimum 1 year’s driving experience
Right to work in the United Kingdom
Great customer service skills
The confidence to drive large vehicles such as coaches and double-decker buses

LOCAL BUS DRIVER

Location: Devon
Operate local bus services across the Devon network under domestic drivers’ hours regulations.
Pay: £16.07 per hour

Requirements:

Valid PCV Licence
Driver CPC

Standard shift patterns operate across a seven-day service network.

SCHOOL CONTRACT DRIVER

Location: Exeter
A term-time-only role operating morning and afternoon school services.
Pay: £16.07 per hour

Benefits:

Fixed weekly salary
Consistent morning and afternoon working hours
Ideal for those seeking part-time work during school terms

COACH DRIVER

Location: Exeter or Truro
Operate private hire services, tours, and coach contracts throughout the UK, with occasional European work.
Pay: £16.07 per hour

Requirements:

Valid PCV Licence
Driver CPC
Varied work shift patterns
Willingness to undertake overnight stays

TRAINEE DRIVER

Start your driving career with Dartline through our fully paid training programme.
Pay while your train: £14.90 per hour
You’ll receive comprehensive support from our Driver Training Team while gaining the qualifications and experience needed to become a professional bus or coach driver.

following 12 months in two £500 instalments
