About the Role:

Glasgow has a strong hospitality and food-service sector, and at Coti Catering and Hospitality Services Ltd, we help commercial kitchens turn ambitious concepts into safe, efficient and fully operational spaces.

We are looking for a Commercial Kitchen Project Manager who can take ownership of kitchen installation and refurbishment projects from initial consultation through to final handover. You will coordinate clients, designers, suppliers, contractors and installation teams while ensuring every project is delivered safely, on schedule and within budget.

This is a high-level project role with significant responsibility, but it is not an executive management position. You will act as the main point of contact throughout each project and ensure that technical requirements, commercial objectives and operational needs remain aligned.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery:

Manage commercial kitchen installation, refurbishment and equipment replacement projects from initial planning through to completion and client handover.

Client Coordination:

Act as the primary contact for clients, providing clear updates on schedules, costs, site activity, risks and project progress.

Site Management:

Coordinate site surveys, installation schedules, contractor access, delivery logistics and commissioning activities.

Budget Control:

Monitor project costs, approve expenditure within agreed limits and identify potential financial risks before they affect delivery.

Supplier Management:

Work closely with equipment manufacturers, distributors, fabricators and specialist contractors to ensure materials and equipment are delivered correctly and on time.

Technical Coordination:

Review kitchen layouts, equipment schedules, mechanical requirements, electrical requirements, ventilation specifications and installation plans.

Compliance:

Ensure projects meet relevant food safety, building, health and safety, fire safety and workplace regulations.

Risk Management:

Identify operational, technical and scheduling risks and implement practical solutions to prevent delays or additional costs.

Project Documentation:

Maintain accurate project schedules, progress reports, variation records, site documentation and handover information.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect completed work, coordinate testing and commissioning, and ensure defects are resolved before final sign-off.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

At least 5 years of experience in commercial kitchen projects, hospitality fit-outs, construction project management, catering equipment installation or a related technical environment.

Project Management Skills:

Strong experience managing multiple suppliers, contractors, budgets, schedules and client expectations.

Industry Knowledge:

A practical understanding of commercial catering equipment, kitchen ventilation, utilities, stainless-steel fabrication and site installation requirements.

Technical Confidence:

Ability to interpret kitchen layouts, equipment schedules, technical drawings and project specifications.

Communication:

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the confidence to manage clients, suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders.

Organisation:

Excellent planning skills and the ability to manage several projects or workstreams without losing attention to detail.

Problem Solving:

A calm and practical approach to resolving site issues, delivery delays, specification changes and installation challenges.

Pay: £4,128.00-£5,424.00 per month
