Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated CNC Operator to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Role Summary
Working closely as part of the machine shop manufacturing team to produce high quality machined products supporting the assembly and tubing function. Working alongside the setters to enable the production of various sizes, lengths and specifications of machined product supporting critical industries including biopharma, medical, water, food, and special processing industries.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the production of machined components from various materials in support of the WMFTS pumps and tubing direct sales to customers globally.
- You’ll provide support for various production activities including the end of line processes.
- You will embrace Continuous Improvement initiatives throughout the machining value stream, working closely with Team Leaders to development and implement new ideas.
- You will support and drive 5S activities across the machining value stream, ensuring the workspace is efficient and safe.
- You will support process improvement investigations including Root Cause analysis and Corrective Actions.
Skills/Experience:
This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment based within a machine shop.
Relevant engineering qualification and/or suitable demonstrated experience CNC turning.
A keen eye for detail and a willingness to utilise all available resources to drive process improvement.
The ability to work with others to achieve the team goals
Willingness to Mentor and train apprentices and operators to improve their skill set and understanding of machining.
