- Layout, pre-clean and prepare for brazing in a range of materials.
- Layout and assemble the tube components utilising equipment, experience and knowledge of working characteristics of various materials.
- Use various brazing sets, shop tools and fixtures to conform to customer drawings and requirements.
- Ensure correct brazing wires and fluxes are selected and ensure equipment is calibrated before use.
- Take 6 monthly braze tests or at periods set by the company.
- Supports the cleaning processes associated to the boiling off tank.
- Work in accordance with the Work To List.
- To achieve “start date” and “finish date” adherence against the relevant operation.
- Fully responsible for the quality of personal work produced.
- To ensure that all customer quality standards are achieved.
- Liaise daily with the Operation Lead and were necessary production teams.
- Being flexible in supporting other roles within the business.
- Responsible for personal Health and Safety.
- Responsible for 5S.
- Responsible for ensuring batch cards are stamped and the BDE is updated accordingly.
- Support with any audits associated to the process.
Work experience requirements:
- Experience with ISO9001 / AS9100 quality requirements.
- Experience within a manufacturing organisation, preferably Aerospace.
- Contributing to continuous improvement through quality improvements and process time reduction.
Pay: £35,490.00-£37,722.00 per year
