We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our the Everest Air finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building customer relationships, and contributing to the success of a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Process customer invoices, accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve billing queries and invoice discrepancies, liaising with customers, vendors and internal departments as required.
- Review and process invoices using AI-enabled systems and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile vendor statements and ensure all invoices and payments are correctly accounted for.
- Meet daily and monthly finance deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with audits, excise tax documentation and other compliance-related activities.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Finance team, including cover for colleagues when required.
- Participate in training, team meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an accounting, finance, bookkeeping, billing or administrative role.
- Good understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident user of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with accounting software is desirable.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
