Research Technician (Cardiac Tissue Bank and Molecular Biology Lab Support)

Overall purpose of the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to provide assistance in the establishment, coordination, and day-to-day operation of a cardiac tissue bank, and providing technical support in molecular biology labs within the BHF CRE HF theme.
The post holder will provide technical and administrative assistance in the development and establishment of a Research Tissue Bank within the BHF-CRE. They will ensure that the collection, processing, and storage of human biological materials are conducted under a robust ethical framework. The post holder will be required in managing ethics applications to securing and maintaining institutional ethics approval.
