About us

We are looking for a Document Controller to join our team.

As a Document Controller, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining the flow of project documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with client and internal standards. You will support our project and office teams, contributing to the smooth delivery of projects and maintaining our reputation for quality and reliability.

This is a stable and rewarding position suited to an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a structured and detail-focused role within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:
- Manage client document control systems and ensure the correct team members are aware of the changes
- Collate and compile O & M manuals using supplier and sub-contractor information
- Assist in the office as necessary to support cover of team members

-Maintain version control and ensure all project documentation is current, properly filed, and easily retrievable.

-Support general office administration tasks and provide cover for other team members when required.

-Ensure clear, open, and honest communication across all parties involved in projects.

-Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.

Essential Attributes and skills:
- Willing to gain technical experience and knowledge of Industrial roofing and Cladding.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.

- Demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism and customer service when representing the business.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Experience of using 4 Projects, Asite, Share point and other document management systems.

- Due to the nature of some of our projects, candidates will be required to meet the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This involves identity verification, employment history checks, criminal record checks, and right to work in the UK.
